James Govoni is a certified Physician Assistant with over 16 years of experience in diverse clinical settings. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating cum laude from Saint Mary’s University, and went on to complete his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Baylor College of Medicine.
Throughout his career, James has built a strong foundation in family medicine, spending more than 9 years providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. He also served for 3 years at the Bexar County Adult Detention Center, gaining valuable experience in correctional healthcare. For the past 4 years, he has conducted in-home medical assessments and exams, offering personalized care directly to patients in their homes.
James is a proud member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and is dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys listening to a wide variety of music and loves spending time at the beach.
